Jane Iredale: Unexpected Benefits of Mineral Makeup

A couple years ago I purchased a product called “Vegetable Wipes” from the store, and my husband just won’t let it go… The guy with a dozen tools that all essentially do the same thing (none of which he ever uses) says I’m a sucker for gimmicks. Because of this running feud, I was hesitant to try anything new.

But after a bad reaction to the makeup I was using, I decided step out of my comfort zone and try something new. I went with Purepressed Base Mineral Foundation by Jane Iredale and I love it. You’ve probably already heard all the hype surrounding mineral-based makeup, and so I won’t waste your time with those details. But, here are a few things I loved that you probably haven’t considered

A little goes a long way

The Purepressed Base gave me more coverage with less, and the feeling it left on my skin was amazing… Very light to the point I totally forgot it was there.

No “Creasing”

I’ve found in the past that my makeup would settle into the fine lines and wrinkles on my skin which resulted in creases. This was not the case with the PurePressed Base; I imagine this is another benefit of getting more coverage with less volume.

I looked great in a photo

Remember when I mentioned earlier that I had forgotten having makeup on? Well, that changed when I saw myself in a picture from that day on Facebook. I finally achieved that natural yet refined look I’ve always been going for.

No more reactions

My favorite thing about the PurePressed Jane Iredale mineral base makeup: no reactions from my sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin I can’t recommend it enough!
